The Ranking Game runs on web browsers or operating systems that implement version 1.1 of Sun Microsystems' Java software.

You may freely download
Netscape Communicator 4.61. It is easy to install and runs The Ranking Game well.
You may also install Apple's Mac Runtime for Java 2.0 (MRJ).
The MacOS 8.1 upgrade includes the MRJ and Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.x. For earlier
System 7.x systems, you can install MS Internet Explorer 4.x or Netscape 4.06.
IBM OS/2 Warp 4.x
Install IBM's Java 1.1.8
and, if you like, update your Netscape/2 to
Communicator 4.61.
Microsoft Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.x with Netscape
You may freely download Navigator 4.61 (9mb)
or Communicator 4.61 (15mb). Both are easy to install and run The Ranking Game well.
